Singer Of Your Song Autumn Tour 2014

The tour came to Truro in Cornwall, UK.

So I kicked off the Autumn leg of Jane McDonald's 22 date 'Singer of Your Song Tour' in the sunny southwest UK this past weekend with shows in Weston and Truro. As ever, it's a full on 2 hour 20 minute spectacle that requires acoustic/ electric/ lead/ rhythm parts throughout. Great fun to play but full concentration certainly required.

Hall for Cornwall - a lovely venue and a great view from everywhere in the room.

Since this is an exclusively 'in-ears' gig I'm not using an amp set up and the Roland GR55 Guitar Synth board in conjunction with a Fender/Roland Strat is the perfect fit for the demands of the show.  The GR55 allows me to move between modelled telecaster, start and  les paul electric tones together with lush acoustic sounds often in the same track!

The Roland GR55 System and Fender/ Roland guitar I'm using for the Autumn Tour.

I use ultimate ears, UE-11, for my in-ear monitoring and I play my trusted Taylor 414 for two songs, including the acoustic version of my track 'I'll Be There', co-written with Jane.

Everyone is using UEs on the tour.

Despite the travelling, we did manage to find a little 'real-ale' refreshment. Should be a great tour.

L-R: Neil Bullock (Drums), Richard Hammond (Bass) enter the (Ye?) Old Ale House in Truro. Sawdust on the floor too.
